IK – International Kindergarten is Open Wings

Open Wings is our Pre-primary curriculum designed to welcome the little ones to the world of fun and learning. The programme is designed to nurture the budding enthusiasm and facilitate learning following the best practices for physical growth and mental development.

Working backward; Moving Forward

We understand that early education is not just about delivering content by teaching letters and numbers. It is not about setting our curriculum and pedagogy based on what and how we want the child to learn. It is the other way around.
It is about understanding how a child wants to learn and facilitating learning in that direction.

WOW! - Wheel of Open Wings

Spokes of Wheel – Described

Global Practices:

Our curriculum and pedagogy are a result of studying the best teaching-learning practices across the world. Active Learning, Concept mapping, flipped classrooms and so on.

Learning Facilitators

Gone are the days where limited information was pushed into children’s brains through rote method. We strongly believe that anything that is learnt with interest and excitement lasts longer. Gamified learning is a way of teaching subjects in the form of games.

Scientifically Designed Curriculum

Open Wings curriculum is designed by subject experts, academicians, child psychologists, pediatricians and experienced teachers making use of the best tools and technology to ensure physical growth and mental development at its fullest.

Gamified Learning

Brain studies show that the loving interactions with caring adults strongly stimulate a child’s brain, causing synapses (neural connections) to grow and existing connections to get stronger. Hence all that our well trained teachers do is to facilitate children’s leaning through proper guidance and tender care.

Learners’ Lounge

Our classrooms are much beyond 4 walls, a few desks and a black board. They provide bean tables and chairs for right sitting and carrying our reading and writing. Carpet floor helps them involve in craft work and other classroom activities or games. Puppets, Building blocks, booklets, theme based paintings on walls – everything make the classroom a great place to learn.

Tools & Technology

Digital classroom that includes – projector, screen and speakers help us to carry the world into the classroom. We just don’t teach, we demonstrate. Listening & Pronunciation in language, concept understanding in Environmental Studies, Numeracy skills – are made easy and effective through many multimedia tools. What We Teach? Our TASK (Technology, Arts, Skills, Knowledge) based curriculum ensures 3600 learning. We strongly believe that a great form of formal educations starts in the school, goes beyond and prepares learners for life.
